Portland, OR—Northwest Analytical Inc. announces the release of NWA Quality AnalystŪ 5.2 which adds to its SPC charting and analysis capabilities with integrated Exception Reporting, enhanced database connectivity features, and greater control over unauthorized parameter and data modification. With Exception Reporting, users can automatically monitor their process or facilities to know when any variable exceeds control limits, specifications, or has pattern rule violations. The user can select any timeframe for the reports and can drill down on any exception to produce the underlying SPC charts to investigate causes. "The new features added to NWA Quality Analyst give the user an improved view of their processes, " says Jeffery Cawley, Vice President, Northwest Analytical. "Exception Reporting gives users an additional tool to look at their processes and improve productivity. By monitoring exceptions, one gets a distilled view of process problems without having to do detailed analysis." The expanded database connectivity supports direct reads from normalized database tables such as those found in quality databases, MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), and LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems). The additional database tools in Quality Analyst v 5.2 further simplify establishing database connections and insulating the user from complex SQL queries. Because Quality Analyst is often integrated into regulated systems, version 5.2 contains additional tools to prevent unauthorized data and parameter changes. These tools help users meet FDA 21 CFR Part 11 requirements for electronic signature and records. About Northwest Analytical, Inc.Northwest Analytical, Inc.
